About Us

This website was originally created in 2007 by Tim M. as he dealt with a bird mite infestation of his home and family. He hoped to provide education and support to others dealing with bid mites, while also facilitating research in this area. Over the course of several years, he added stories, experiences, research and treatment ideas to the site, continually adding to the wealth of information found here.

Scott Mogul now manages the day-to-day affairs for this website. Taking over for Tim, Scott hopes to continue raising awareness of bird mite infestation of humans. Scott’s goal for the website is to ensure that it has all the necessary information and resources available to help people coping with bird mite infestation. He is also interested in helping those dealing with bird mite infestation to connect with others, to decrease feelings of aloneness and isolation.

Scott now oversees all areas of the website, including content and website design. You can reach him through our contact page.
