  I am really sorry what you have been through while being pregnant. My advice is that you collect samples of the bird mites in a bottle with rubbing alcohol. Contact an entomologist from a local university, send him/ her the specimens and get a statement from this expert. This statement is the confirmation that you are suffering a real infestation that you can use with your landlord. Best of luck, I send you good vibes.
