This started in my loft condo in April of this year.
My son has a loft condo connected to mine but he has no problem with these mites…He even printed off a write-up on “Delusional Parasitosis”! Sound familiar everyone….at first I really thought I was going to lose my mind with this situation. I have done everything more ( all have been included in other poor soles writing on this site)…..!! I haven’t tried the “Arrid Extra Dry Method” yet…that will be my next venture…I have seen two dermatologists and my family doctor…I have another appointment with my Dermatologist on the 21st of this month…She did take a biopsy from one of the sores on my shoulders and it came back as an Arthropod bite but even with that evidence my son still thinks I am nutty.
He really lost it the night I came downstairs in a Painter’s Plastic jumper that covers the entire body even the head…!! I told him it was my Halloween costume…just call me the “Pillsbury Do Boy”…But it works…I got an extra-large off of “Amazon” for $3.99… the best buy I ever made…I take my bath (with all the remedies)…put on clean clothes that are all in zipper bags with mothballs!! Sterilize my bathroom before I leave…Spray my bed and flooring with Alcohol…!! (oh yes…I vacuum every day…) but the Jumpsuit saves me…I sleep like a baby now !! The nightmare of biting and lack of sleep was making me want to smoke and drink again ( which I haven’t done for years ). I do all of what everyone has done…You could perform Surgery in my house it is sooo sterile and clean…These little monsters are terrible, to say the least. We have ordered wood flooring and plan to tear up all of the carpets and throw away the old sofa and lazy boy…!@2#$^…
I am sooo happy I found this site…At least I am not alone and I am not nuts…Yet!! If someone comes up with something that eradicates these little monsters without breaking the bank they will get as rich as Bezos but for now, we just have to continue our battle alone !! Good Luck Everyone…Lets pray for a solution ( Maybe some Aerosol Bombs that actually work )…because these Monsters are everywhere just lurking.
