My Story to add and help others

I had some type of mites I believe caught from birds from putting bird feeders in the lawn.

Then all my dogs were itchy and I was itchy and felt fast crawling/scurrying in parts of my body especially my scalp.

I did my online search and tried so many things. I never saw these mites. They were microscopic.

A borax and hydrogen peroxide bath got rid of the crawling/scurrying sensation but it was temporary. To get rid of it completely, I got rid of my carpets and put in hardwood floors.

Put a dehumidifier in my bedroom and another in my living room and set them both to 35% humidity. Make sure to open drawers and closet doors to dry every nook and cranny.

I washed all my colored laundry in ‘Tide with Bleach’ and all my white laundry in ‘Tide with Bleach’ and added liquid bleach.

Cleaned my bathrooms with bleach.

At dog shelters, they spray down dog spaces with bleach water to get rid of mites.

I used lavender and vanilla Swiffer cleaning solution to mop my floors and got an iRobot Roomba robot vacuum to constantly vacuum the entire house.

My dogs had a prescription for an anti-flea/tick/mite combo called Simparica which I filled online. I read several studies on this ingredient in Simparica called Sarolaner after 30 days dogs are free of Demodex mites and after 60 days dogs are free of sarcoptic mange (scabies), from the first day they take Simparica.

For my body and hair, I used Head and Shoulders shampoo and I also switched and used every other day a ‘Blonde’ brightening shampoo because it has a bleaching agent in it but is safe for hair. I used these shampoos all over my face including lashes and brows and all over my body.

For my dogs, I shampooed them once a week with head and shoulders and monthly Simparica pills.

After two months finally, relief and relaxation, and most importantly my dogs are happy.
