What color do they glow under UV off to under UV black light?

  I recently purchased a UV light and suspect these mites glow fluorescent orange but would like to confirm. Some look like strings but I read they shed their exoskeletons so I’m thinking possibly that’s the reason for this appearance??? Can anyone shed any LIGHT?

  I’ve been using uv lights as well and yes, they glow orange, but also blue depending on either stage of growth or when they ladt fed. And yes, the “strings” you are finding are related to the infestation but haven’t figured out exactly how. Exoskeleton makes sense though. Check out nano sprayers with uv light. Good luck,
